Dan Martin is an International Business Advisor at Dezan Shira & Associates, based in the firm’s Hanoi office. As part of the firm’s North American Desk, Dan supports businesses from the United States and Canada while also advising companies from around the globe on navigating Vietnam’s complex regulatory environment. His work focuses on providing tailored solutions to help foreign firms establish and expand their operations in one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic markets.

With extensive experience living and working in the United States, Vietnam, and China, Dan brings a deep understanding of the region’s business environment. He specializes in creating practical strategies to address the challenges faced by foreign investors, leveraging Dezan Shira & Associates’ integrated services in tax, accounting, payroll, and compliance to deliver comprehensive support.

Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Dan was part of the team of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, where he gained valuable insights into the operational and regulatory challenges faced by foreign firms. His expertise spans industries such as professional services, manufacturing, IT, hospitality, trading, processed food, renewable energy, healthcare, and more.

Dan holds a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from Fudan University in Shanghai, where he developed expertise in cross-border business dynamics and global governance.
