Business Briefing on the Coronavirus

On February 12, 2020, Filippo Bortoletti, Manager of International Business Advisory, will be joining an event hosted by AmCham Vietnam entitled Business Briefing on the Coronavirus in Hilton Hanoi Opera, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Following the success of a seminar named Impact of Novel Coronavirus on Your Health and Business, joined by Trent Davies, another manager of International Business Advisory team, in Ho Chi Minh city last week, Business Briefing on the Coronavirus presents AmCham Vietnam’s commitment in rapidly providing businesses with timely updates and necessary guidance to tackle economic impacts of Coronavirus outbreak.

During the event, Filippo will discuss the broad economic impact of Novel Coronavirus epidemic in Vietnam, especially in vulnerable industries such as education and tourism. He will also shed light on possible disruptions in supply chains, given travel restrictions to and from China, temporary factory closures, and unfair anti-china sentiment that may impact investment in China. In addition, advice on best practices regarding HR, treatment of employee absence and Vietnam labour laws will be discussed.
