Common Labor Law Issues in China: Risk and Compliance Strategies

On December 13th, Thibaut Minot, Senior Associate of the International Business Advisory Team at Dezan Shira & Associates, will give a speech at Wework Weihai Lu about common labor law issues in China, focusing on risk and compliance strategies of managing a workforce in China.

In the presentation, Thibaut will cover practical issues such as employment contract and staff handbook management, the Chinese social insurance system, and employee termination in China. Real cases will be shown to give attendees a comprehensive understanding of the key problems foreign investors may come across when a managing workforce in China. Tips on how to solve these problems will be given accordingly.

Following the presentation, Allan Xu, Manager of the Business Advisory Team at Dezan Shira & Associates, will lead a Q&A discussion session. As a former labor arbitrator having dealt with more than 2000 arbitration cases, Allan will answer the related questions raised by attendees based on her rich experience and the real cases she has solved.
