About the speakers:

 

Ms. Manuela Reintgen is a Senior Associate Business Development at Dezan-Shira & Associates, a specialist foreign direct investment practice, providing corporate establishment, business advisory, tax advisory and compliance, accounting, payroll, due diligence and financial review services to multinationals investing in emerging Asia.

Ms. Reintgen works in the business advisory services department of Dezan Shira & Associates Beijing. She advises international clients on incorporations, legal and tax issues concerning their China investments. She holds a degree in translation and law and has since focused on business relations, intercultural issues, and legal issues in China. Throughout her time with Dezan Shira & Associates she has gained a valuable insight into the Chinese HR and social security system, and advises on individual income taxes, payroll administration, corporate tax and on different regulation changes.

 

 

Ms. Jenny (Jie) ZHONG is a partner at Broad & Bright, a leading Chinese law firm serving mainly international clients making investment in China.

Ms. Zhong's main practice areas are foreign direct investment, merger and acquisition, corporate governance and compliance, labor law counseling and labor arbitration and litigation, intellectual property rights, contract management, product liabilities, crisis management and other general corporate issues.

Ms. Zhong has rich experience in labor law counseling and labor dispute settlement gained both from her work as an in-house counsel at Motorola and Nokia and from her service to many multinational corporate clients.
