Enterprise Partnerships for Development Forum in Vietnam

From May 24-26, about 50 Italian enterprises are expected to attend an event promoting Italian-Vietnam business partnerships, with a focus on three of the most promising economic sectors in Vietnam: textile/garment; footwear and woodworking.

The event, sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and funded by the Government of Italy, follows a road show for Vietnamese SMEs in Italy which attracted hundreds of Italian companies.

Specific focus will be placed on best practices of Italian “industrial districts,” and the promotion of institutional agreements between Italian and Vietnamese industry associations, educational institutions, technical and service centers so as to facilitate industrial partnerships and the upgrade of Vietnamese industry.
