Impact of Novel Coronavirus on Your Health and Business

On February 6, 2020, Trent Davies, Manager of International Business Advisory, will be joining an event hosted by AmCham Vietnam entitled Impact of Novel Coronavirus on Your Health and Business in InterContinental Saigon, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

The event is the result of AmCham Vietnam’s rapid response to the Coronavirus outbreak, aiming to provide its members with timely updates and necessary guidance to address the situation and will be open exclusively for AmCham members.

During the event, Trent will discuss the broad economic impact of Novel Coronavirus epidemic in Vietnam, especially in vulnerable industries such as education and tourism. He will also shed light on possible disruptions in supply chains, given travel restrictions to and from China, temporary factory closures, and unfair anti-china sentiment that may impact investment in China. In addition, advice on best practices regarding HR, treatment of employee absence and Vietnam labour laws will be discussed.
