Made In Asia: Consumer’s Influence on Sourcing Strategy

Dezan Shira & Associates’  Senior Associate, Mr. Fabian Knopf, will be a moderator on the human resources panel during the French Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong's “Made in Asia: Consumer’s influence on Sourcing Strategy” event on March 20^th, 2014, in Hong Kong.

In this fourth edition of “Made in Asia,” sourcing professionals, supply chain managers, factory owners, and social experts will discuss the new fundamentals of sourcing strategies. This event will examine some new factors such as consumers’ expectations on CSR, FX trading & volatility, consolidated supply chain costs, and risks management.

Mr. Fabian Knopf’s expertise lies mainly in corporate structuring and accounting, tax compliance and HR as well as payroll in China and increasingly in India and ASEAN. As the Head of German Desk, Fabian oversees the German publications and marketing of Asia Briefing. Fabian regularly travels to Germany to meet partners and clients as well as speak on doing business in China, India and ASEAN. He has acquired this expertise through his experience with the firm in Beijing, Shanghai and the firm’s other offices in the Yangtze River Delta, where he established the firm’s Suzhou office.
