The Changing Face of Chinese Society

Richard Cant, the Regional Director in Shanghai for Dezan Shira & Associates, will present on October 22 on “The Changing Face of the Chinese Society” for the Shanghai Rotary Club. 

China is undergoing huge changes, in both its economy and demographics. Forces such as an aging workforce, rising disposable income levels, the effects of the one child policy and others are changing the face of China. Richard’s presentation will cover these changes and their effects on international businesses operating in China. His presentation will also include a discussion of China’s booming second and third tier cities.

Richard is the regional director of the Yangtze River Delta Region for Dezan Shira & Associates. Based in Shanghai, Richard guides foreign individuals and companies through the process of establishing, maintaining and expanding their businesses in China.
