How does an employee in China apply for the benefits of the work-related injury insurance?

Employees should submit work injury determination applications with the social insurance administration department within 30 days of the accident or of being diagnosed with an occupational disease, and are required to show proof of the employment relationship and medical diagnoses. Where an employee is dispatched to work outside of China and is required by the laws of the host country or region to participate in work-related injury insurance locally, their insurance in China can be suspended.
