How to obtain the registration of a Singaporean private limited company for incorporation?

Upon the approval of company name, registration of company should be applied for. The following documents would be needed for registration of company:

• SingPass
• Name application number of approved company name
• Company type
• Details of additional directors, shareholders or members
• Details of registered office address
• Details of share capital
• PDF copy of memorandum and articles of association

Usually, the company would be incorporated within 15 minutes after the registration fee is paid. If further approval needs be obtained, the period for such incorporation should be between 14 days to two months.

Once the incorporation is successful, an official email notification, which is deemed as the official certificate of incorporation, will be issued to the designated email address by the Company Registrar. Also, with a small application fee, a business profile of the company, which will state all relevant details, can be obtained. With these two documents in hand, the company will be able to carry out all legal and contractual arrangements with other entities. However, operations can only begin, upon the issuance of the Unique Entity Number to the company, after the incorporation is finished.
