The corporate laws of China are very rigid and require companies to stay within the scope of the business that they first intended to engage in. When the company is created, it needs to describe the business scope and apply for a business license. When setting up architecture WFOE in China, the firm would need to be set up in China. The major obstacle is the staff requirement because one fourth of the staff in a foreign-invested architecture firms need to have both foreign and Chinese certifications.
