However, how should companies handle layoffs legally? What is the financial liability related to such a termination?

In this webinar, Sandy Zhang, Manager of the HR and Payroll team at Dezan Shira & Associates introduced employee termination policies and procedures based on Chinese labor contract law and also provided an HR management perspective on the same.  Sandy will explain how to calculate severance pay according to Chinese law and what the meaning of N, N+1 and 2N is.
