In recent years, India's consistent economic growth and business-friendly policies have not only made it a prime destination for inbound investments but have also positioned Indian corporations as significant global investors. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), states that India's outward foreign investment amounted to $USD 22.88 billion in 2022-23. Despite recent amendments to the ODI (Overseas Direct Investment) policy under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), navigating the ODI landscape remains complex.
