Lorena Miera Ruiz

BIO

Lorena supports foreign investors from Europe, Latin America, and Asia in setting up and developing their projects in China. Lorena’s areas of expertise include establishing wholly foreign-owned enterprises and representative offices in China, along with cross-office project management. Her industry experience includes automotive, packaging, and food & beverage.

At the firm's Spanish Desk, Lorena handles Spanish-speaking clients, oversees Spanish language content and publications, and manages Spanish and Latin American business partnerships.

Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates, Lorena worked at both international and domestic law firms in Shanghai. In those roles, her responsibilities included conducting legal research, project management, and translation of legal documents. Lorena holds a master’s degree in Civil and Commercial Law from Fudan University in Shanghai, and a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Alicante in Spain. She is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English, and is proficient in French and Chinese.
