BIO

As a Manager in our Hanoi office’s Business Advisory Services, Mai coordinates and provides advice to foreign investors, drawing on her years of experience in and expertise working with Vietnam’s legal and regulatory framework. She specializes in advising foreign investors and businesses on all aspects of corporate establishment, business registration certificate amendment, registered capital amendment, and corporate bankruptcy.

Mai is a certified lawyer in Vietnam with a combined fifteen years of experience in the legal and financial services fields. Prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates in April 2014, Mai spent six years working in a Singaporean law firm in Vietnam and Techcombank. Besides business advisory, she has professional interests in labor law and other civil law fields.

Mai received a BA in Business Law from the Hanoi National University’s Law School, an MA from the Law School of University of the West of England in International Economic Law and holds Lawyer License issued by Judical Ministry of Vietnam. She is now a Lawyer member of Hanoi Bar Association
