Dezan Shira & Associates Holds Presentation on Trade Disputes in China’s F&B Industry for Polish Delegation
On April 25, 2017, Stephen O’Regan, International Business Advisory Senior Associate at Dezan Shira & Associates, gave a presentation at an event organized by the Polish Consulate, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Guangzhou, China. In attendance was the Consul General of Poland, alongside consulate officials and Polish company executives looking to enter the Chinese market.
During the presentation, Stephen covered the current situation of China’s F&B industry, specifically concerning regulations regarding the dairy industry. He also went over trade disputes touching on how to navigate through China’s legal system in terms of protecting companies from litigation, how to avoid and solve potential labor disputes, while also addressing China’s intellectual property and trademark protection policies. After his presentation was a 15 minute Q&A session moderated by the Polish consulate, followed by networking and a spread of Polish delicacies.
