Dezan Shira & Associates Presents on Vietnam’s Food & Beverage Market for European Trade Mission

On January 30, 2018,  Rossella Bizzarri, International Business Advisory Associate at Dezan Shira & Associates’ Ho Chi Minh City office, gave a presentation on Vietnam’s food and beverage industry to a European trade mission. This trade mission was organized by the EU-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN) and  included delegations from 15 European food and beverage companies.

During the presentation, Rossella introduced Vietnam’s growing food and beverage industry and explained how European investors can enter this highly profitable market from a legal perspective. Key topics covered in her presentation included various market entry forms in Vietnam; regulations in the F&B market and the impact of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.

After the presentation, there was a Q&A session, during which Rossella answered the participants on various technical issues, including , how to correctly identify HS codes and the validity of organic certifications in Vietnam.
