Juan Rojas Shares Experience with Chilean Companies in e-Commerce Webinar

On September 6, Juan Rojas, International Business Advisory Associate in Guangzhou and member of Dezan Shira & Associates’ Spanish Desk, was invited by the the Office of Export Promotion from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, ProChile, to conduct an online seminar on the topic of cross-border e-commerce.

Successful Webinar Series Organized by ProChile

41 prominent Chilean companies registered for the series of webinars organized by ProChile, having the chance to learn the particularities of the Chinese e-commerce market, how to start planning their market entry strategy, and for some companies which are already conducting cross-border e-commerce, finding answers to specific issues.

At the end of the session, the participants had the chance to raise their doubts to Juan. Of special concern, both for new comers to e-commerce and companies already doing trade with China through this channel, was the topic of brand protection and trademark registration in China, which was thoroughly explained by our advisor.
