On 14th March 2019, Dezan Shira & Associates co-hosted a seminar with EU Chamber (Nanjing branch) explaining legal and tax risks, and crisis management for foreign invested enterprises (FIEs) in China.

Then, Chad Wang, attorney at Zhonglun Law Firm, explained the effective methods of preventing a crisis and proper crisis management solutions from a legal lens.
Finally, Susan Ma, Accounting and Tax Manager of Dezan Shira & Associates, shared common tax compliance and risk control mechanisms, tax inspection selection methods, and the relevant risk response companies should take.
The seminar was held at the Sheraton Changzhou Xinbei Hotel, with 30 attendees from Changzhou General Manager Club; the majority of them employees of various manufacturing companies.
