Lorena Miera Attends IBA M&A Conference and IR Global Meeting in Santiago, Chile

IBA M&A Conference

Lorena Miera Ruiz, International Business Advisory Associate and Head of our Spanish Desk, attended the International Bar Association (IBA) Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Conference in Santiago, Chile.

The event took place from March 20-22 and was the largest IBA M&A conference ever to be held in Latin America.

The conference brought together over 800 lawyers, in-house counsels, legal academics, government officials, and bar association representatives from 35 countries. They discussed the impact of M&A in Latin American markets, its evolving landscape, and how best to encourage investments.

This event provided a wonderful opportunity for Dezan Shira & Associates to network with some of the region’s top legal experts as well as gain insights into important developments in the M&A market.

IR Global Latin America Member Meeting

Lorena also represented our firm at the 2019 IR Global Latin America Member Meeting organized by IR Global –  one of the largest international professional service networks in the world. The meeting brought together IR Global members from across the region.

At the meeting, Lorena had the opportunity to connect with fellow IR Global members, and take part in presentations and discussions focused on legal matters.

While in Chile, Lorena met with partners, clients, and leads, to strengthen our business associations in Latin America.
