Doing Business in China for 2019, Shanghai Workshop

On May 31, 2019, we were pleased to host a workshop at our Shanghai office in collaboration with AustCham Shanghai, as part of the Engage China 2019 trade mission

During the workshop, our Director of International Tax and Transfer Pricing, Paul Dwyer and Senior International Business Advisory, Lorena Miera  co-presented on the topic of “Opportunities and Challenges of Doing Business in China” to the ABC Trade Mission, a delegation of 15 businessmen from Australia.

They provided an overview of China’s regulatory environment, and how it contrasts with Australia’s.

Using case studies, Lorena and Paul also shared their insights into how businesses need to adapt, and the differences in operating a business in China.
