Dezan Shira & Associates Launches New Subsidiary for the US and Canada Market

Dezan Shira & Associates, a leading foreign direct investment professional services firm in Asia, is pleased to announce it has incorporated in the United States to better serve its North American clients.

Head of North American Business Development, Dustin Daugherty, leads the Salt Lake City office and North American team. Dustin previously led the International Business Advisory team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam before taking charge of North American operations.

“Having a physical presence in the US allows us to connect immediately with clients who might be headquartered on either the East or West coast in both the US and Canada,” says Dustin Daugherty. “Our clients find it invaluable to be able to get in touch with the project team at any hour of the day, particularly during their normal business hours. Being able to communicate immediately, if necessary, and over the phone is reassuring and adds another level of convenience and efficiency,” he continues. “Salt Lake City is centrally located in the US, so it allows us to easily access different parts of the country for in-house visits or attending industry events.”

Moving forward, Dezan Shira & Associates plans to continue growing their North American presence. Regarding these future plans, Dustin explains, “Besides continuing to provide a convenient contact point for clients, we will focus on reaching more companies that hope to establish themselves in Asia, or that already have operations but require assistance with one aspect or another. That means being available at events, providing relevant resources, and in general, expanding our network.”
