Vivian Mao Mentors Young Professionals at Study Melbourne Hub’s Pitch Bootcamp

Vivian Mao, Partner at Dezan Shira & Associates’ Shanghai office, joined Study Melbourne Hub’s Pitch Bootcamp as a judge and mentor. Hosted alongside AustCham Shanghai, the Pitch Bootcamp was a one-day career acceleration program designed to bring together talented youth from Victorian universities as well as local executives and professionals.

Over 70 students and 60+ professionals from different industries came together for this event. As judge and mentor, Vivian worked with the students to help them explore skills, map their careers, and develop personal pitches. In addition to providing feedback, suggestions, and advice to her group of mentees, Vivian was able to share her own professional experiences in the consulting industry with them.

Impressed by the communication skills, diverse experience, and background of the students that took part in the event, we are looking forward to continuing to work with the community to help build the next generation of young professionals.
