Andrea Volpe Travels to Vietnam as EU Desk Reconnects with Asia Offices in-Person

Andrea Volpe, Senior Consultant at Dezan Shira & Associates and based in our Udine, Italy office is returning to Asia after years of collaborating at a distance. From May 16 to the 28^th, Andrea who sits on both the German and Italian desks, will be in Vietnam visiting clients, partners, and colleagues.

Vietnam officially fully reopened on March 15^th, 2022 allowing all travel to the country. While a negative test is still required to cross into Vietnam, the country joins a number of ASEAN countries who have switched to living alongside Covid-19 and allowing cross-border travel.

Despite continued supply chain stressors, Vietnam has been on track to make a full recovery with the economy expanding 5.22% in Q4 of 2021 and 5.03% in Q1, 2022.

Andrea will visit DSA’s Hanoi office in the second half of May, along with our newly relocated, Ho Chi Minh City office. There, he will meet with colleagues, clients and partners – some for the first time face-to-face.
