Giovanni Lovisetti Attends First Investments in Nepal Event in Milan

On June 23, 2022, Giovanni Lovisetti, Senior Associate at Dezan Shira & Associates, attended the first-ever event held in Milan on investments in Nepal.

On June 23, the Nepalese Embassy in Geneva arranged a presentation about investment opportunities in the country, Investments in Nepal: Opportunities, Incentives & Procedures. Giovanni Lovisetti, based in the firm’s Milan office and a representative of the Italian desk in Italy, had the chance to share with the Ambassador, Dezan Shira & Associates’ expertise in the area.

He was also able to share a complimentary Nepal’s Foreign Investment Climate: Potential and Opportunities guide with all attendees which offers a summary of the Nepalese investment environment and opportunities for foreign companies. The shortened guide is one of a series of DSA’s most in-demand publications, the Doing Business Guides.

The presentation and subsequent discussion at the in-person event centered around how Italian businesses can enter the Nepalese market, incentives with which to do so, and strategic fields of investment such as renewable energy, industrial sectors, agriculture, infrastructure, etc.
