Vietnam Director Filippo Bortoletti Joins Panel at Deep C Industrial Zone’s 25th Anniversary

Hai Phong, 21 Oct 2022 – Vietnam Director, Filippo Bortoletti, joined Deep C Industrial Zone’s “Building the Future” summit to help them celebrate 25 years of operation.

As a long time partner of Deep C in Vietnam, Dezan Shira was invited by Geert Dom, EU & US Representative of Deep C, to take present and take part in a high-level panel discussion on Northern Vietnam’s labor market. Filippo shared his insights with attendees noting that the country’s northern provinces provide the largest supply of skilled workers in Vietnam. With growing efforts to increase vocational training, rising labor productivity, and lower labor costs compared with locations such as Hanoi and Bac Ninh, provinces like Haiphong and Qiang Ninh are positioned as strong alternatives for manufacturing. And by attracting workers from neighboring provinces, their workforce is set to be able to sustain the projected growth of the industry in the coming years.
