Giovanni Lovisetti Serves as Guest Speaker on Vietnamese Legal Framework for Foreign Direct Investment at Università Cattolica

Giovanni Lovisetti, Senior Associate at Dezan Shira & Associates’ Milan Liaison Office, on November 30, 2022, was invited by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan to teach a class about the Vietnamese legal system.

Giovanni, who recently had the opportunity to return to Vietnam visiting both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, explained the Vietnamese legal framework for foreign direct investment. He additionally described the reasons for companies based in China to implement a China plus one strategy in Vietnam.

The class was a part of the Private Comparative Law course led by Prof. Francesca Benatti. Giovanni Lovisetti, an attorney himself, is a frequent lecturer at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore; lending his expertise about Asian business law to the law students attending the program.
