- The appointment was announced at ETL’s annual Global Conference held in Lisbon, Portugal in October
- Riccardo’s selection reflects both Dezan Shira & Associates’ active participation in the network, as well as Asia’s continued and growing importance to the global business community
Riccardo Benussi, Dezan Shira & Associates’ Director of Europe, joins Dr. Christian Gorny, CEO of ETL, and Antoine de Riedmatten, Chairman of the Management Board In Extenso & Associés, on the Board of ETL Global.
As members of the Global Board, Riccardo and his peers will oversee the work of the Executive Director, helping shape quality standards and priorities, as well as being a spokesperson of the ETL Global network.
The Leadership of ETL announced Riccardo’s appointment at the annual ETL Global Conference in October in Lisbon, Portugal. It was the first in-person Global Conference since the outbreak of the pandemic and as such, carried the motto “Re-initiating the Network”. Participants at this year’s conference joined in speed-dating and technical networking sessions, expanding their personal connections with over 200 attendees from all over the world.
The appointment reflects Riccardo and Dezan Shira & Associates’ active participation in ETL Global, in addition to the firm’s footprint and expanding presence across Asia. The continent continues to grow in importance for the European business community, increasingly attractive for both supply chain solutions and consumer market potential.
Speaking of the appointment, Riccardo comments, “I am honored to be appointed to such a role and for an outstanding network of global professionals. I will support the rest of the board and the CEO in overseeing activities, guaranteeing a professional handling of the board’s mission, and representing the network to the board and vice-versa.”
