Ines Liu Invited to Speak on Investing in China’s Green and Low Carbon Sector with Australian Business Delegation
Ines Liu, Senior Manager of International Business Advisory and Head of the Australian Desk at our Beijing office shared her insights on investing in China’s green and low carbon sector at an Industry Briefing session on April 26, 2023. The session is part of a high-level business delegation organised by the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) to China from April 23-28, 2023.
The delegation, comprising senior executives from leading Australian corporations in sectors including mining, banking, legal services, and telecommunications, was visiting China to explore potential green energy cooperation between Chinese and Australian companies. This visit is a positive development in diplomatic relations between Beijing and Canberra, and we are delighted to support it.
Ines commented after the event:
“It was an honour to share my expertise with such a distinguished group, and I am confident that the information provided will guide Australian investors in terms of exploring potential green opportunities in China. This visit is a positive sign of growing business ties between China and Australia, and I am excited to be a part of it. My key advice for foreign investors is to understand the market holistically and to plan contingencies. It’s also crucial to protect your intellectual property by registering patents and trademarks and to connect with a reliable partner who can provide local expertise and resources to win foreign direct investment.”
