Riccardo Benussi Participates at RigaComm Conference 2023 in Latvia
Dezan Shira & Associates’ Director of Europe, Riccardo Benussi, took active part at the RigaComm 2023 held in Latvia, and was a speaker and panel moderator on October 5th.
Hosted by BT1, the leading exhibition organizer in the Baltic states, RigaComm annually brings together companies from the region and beyond to showcase their technological innovations, offer solutions, and seek collaboration in the tech field.
Now in its 11th edition, RigaComm 2023 featured 215 speakers across six distinct stages, broken down into 12 diverse conference tracks that covered fintech, e-commerce, digital marketing, cybersecurity, Web3, machine learning, IoT, and robotics.
The two-day event also saw the participation of 103 exhibitors and welcomed 2,584 professional delegates from over 30 countries.
On the first day of the conference, Riccardo shared insights about the ongoing and unparalleled digital transformation in Asia, the potential synergies between the Baltic nations (known for their strong tech and innovation track record), and highlighted the essential considerations for businesses seeking to capitalize on opportunities in Asia.
Following his presentation, Riccardo was joined on stage by Jeff App, DocLogix, and Baltic China Connected in a panel discussion.
During the engaging panel conversation, the speakers shared their Baltic companies’ unique experiences in Asia. They highlighted the crucial role of timing, especially how the onset of COVID expedited the embrace of digital solutions. They also underscored the significance of genuine curiosity and stressed the importance of firsthand impressions by visiting the region before considering venturing into Asian markets.
