Alberto Vettoretti Visits Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board

JAKARTA – On March 28, 2024, Alberto Vettoretti, Managing Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA), along with Jennifer Halim, International Business Advisory Manager, Indonesia, paid a visit to the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). They were warmly received by Mr Cahyo Purnomo, Investment Promotion Director for East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, and Africa, of the BKPM. 

Following a recent joint presentation in Shenzhen where both BKPM and DSA presented to a highly interested Chinese investors audience, both parties exchanged valuable insights into prevailing market trends in Indonesia. They underscored a shared vision aimed at fostering heightened foreign investment in the country. With the new president-elect’s plan of continuing President Joko Widodo’s policies, the new government is expected to attract investments in downstream commodity processing, modernizing infrastructure, and developing the new capital city, among others. As such, Indonesia is emerging as an enticing destination for inbound investment in the region.  

This recent engagement reaffirms DSA’s pivotal role in facilitating cross-border business collaborations throughout Asia and beyond. The discussion concluded on a positive note, with plans underway to more future collaborations between BKPM and DSA.
