Andrea Volpe Holds a Webinar for Confindustria Toscana Sud on the ASEAN Countries

On Wednesday, April 10th, Andrea Volpe from our Udine and Treviso Liaison Office took part in the webinar “Mercati del Sud Est asiatico: i Paesi ASEAN” (South East Asian markets: ASEAN countries) as the sole speaker.

Confindustria Toscana Sud, representing industrialists from the provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto, and Siena, stands as the second most influential industrial association in Italy’s Tuscany region. With over 1,500 members, including local and international companies of various sizes, it significantly contributes to the development and welfare of more than half the Tuscan territory. As a key resource, it provides its members with valuable information and assistance covering all strategic and managerial aspects of business operations.

In this context, Dezan Shira & Associates was appointed to introduce the ASEAN markets to a distinguished audience of companies operating in the goldsmith, perfumes, F&B, and engineering sectors.

Andrea gave an extensive presentation on the main characteristics of the ASEAN countries, focusing on the importance of Free Trade Zones and the main Free Trade Agreements.

In the Q&A section, he addressed various questions from the attendees regarding expansion of their activities in the ASEAN countries and specific issues related to their sector.
