Giovanni Lovisetti Lectures on Private Comparative Law and China’s Legal Landscape

MILAN – On April 18th, Senior Associate Giovanni Lovisetti from our Milan Liaison Office delivered a lecture at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, as part of the Private Comparative Law curriculum.

In explaining the process of advising Italian companies in China, Giovanni shared some valuable insights from his L.L.M. studies at the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, which he completed in 2015.

With over five years of experience lecturing on Chinese and Vietnamese law across various Italian universities, Giovanni’s expertise was recognized in January 2023 when he was appointed as a cultore della materia (subject matter expert) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

In this role, he contributes to Examination Commissions, aids students with their thesis preparations, and serves as a subject matter expert on topics related to private comparative law, with a specialized focus on Asian legal systems.
