The session aimed to raise awareness and discuss ALIA’s approach to this evolving trend.

During the Member-to-Member Session, Eric Holthusen, Senior Advisor of Technical Development at ALIA, introduced ‘The ALIA PCF Label’ for assessing Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data. This data has become increasingly crucial for compliance and marketing across industries, with B2B customers and sustainability-conscious consumers utilizing it for calculations and purchase decisions, respectively.

During his session, Pritesh Samuel presented valuable insights into the increasing geopolitical and economic importance of Vietnam market within the lubricants industry. He discussed the current state of sustainability enforcement in Vietnam, key ESG initiatives, and the regulatory landscape affecting the lubricants industry.
