Riccardo Benussi Joins IR Global Members at the BeNeLux Meeting in Maastricht, Netherlands
MAASTRICHT – On April 25-26th, our Partner, Riccardo Benussi, participated in a BeNeLux event organized by IR Global member firms Maprima and Wolfs Advocaten, held in Maastricht.
Held at the Crowne Plaza hotel, the event served as a prime platform for networking and collaboration among IR Global firms across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
The meeting featured informative presentations and roundtable discussions, enabling attendees to share insights and experiences from their professional backgrounds in legal, accountancy, and financial advisory services across diverse jurisdictions and specialties.
On Friday afternoon, April 26, Mayor Wim Hillenaar of Maastricht extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Following this, attendees had the flexibility to network while exploring the city’s rich history and beauty.
During a visit to the county hall, the attendees had the chance to learn about the significance of the Maastricht Treaty, which in 1992 laid the foundation for the European Union (EU), introduced the euro, and established EU citizenship.
The historical context helps in understanding the significance of the EU for businesses and professional firms operating in the BeNeLux region. It also resonates with the ethos of cooperation and openness promoted during this gathering of IR Global member firms at Maastricht.
