Dezan Shira & Associates Italian Desk’s Experts Lead Masterclass in Global Management for China Program for the 8th year

On May 14, 2024, Dezan Shira & Associates’ Managing Partner Alberto Vettoretti, Partner Riccardo Benussi, and Senior Consultant Andrea Volpe jointly conducted a masterclass for the Global Management for China (GMC) Master’s program. Alberto had previously served as a guest lecturer for the program over several years before 2017. As part of the “Accounting and Taxation” segment of the Corporate (4^th) Module, they shared their expertise and experience with the students, delivering a series of presentations on tax, accounting, and finance.

The GMC program is a collaborative effort among several prestigious Italian universities dedicated to research and teaching on China: Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, University of Naples “L’Orientale”, University of Macerata, and Università degli Studi di Bergamo.

In addition to the Corporate module, the GMC curriculum includes modules on Legal, Institutional Politics, Economics, Language, and Computer Science. This year, the University of Naples “L’Orientale” hosted the program, a responsibility that rotates every three years.

Over the past eight years, the involvement of Dezan Shira & Associates’ Italian Desk in the GMC program underscores the firm’s commitment to fostering comprehension of Chinese business in Italy.
