Dezan Shira & Associates Takes Part in ETL GLOBAL Spain’s 8th National Congress

TARRAGONA – On Friday, September 27, Riccardo Benussi, Partner at Dezan Shira & Associates, took part in the 8th National Congress of ETL GLOBAL Spain, held in the southern city of Tarragona. 

The event brought together over 270 professionals from more than 140 member firms of ETL GLOBAL Spain to celebrate 12 years since the network’s establishment in the country. The congress welcomed new firms from Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, Tarragona, Pamplona, and Cádiz. International partners from the ETL GLOBAL network, including representatives from the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic, were also in attendance.

ETL GLOBAL is ranked as the leading international group offering tax, legal, and consulting services to SMEs and the middle market across Spain and Europe, with the network achieving an annual growth rate of over 17% in recent years.

During a dedicated segment on ETL GLOBAL International, where InExtenso member Gaetan Mony (In Extenso, France) also presented, Riccardo addressed the audience in Spanish, introducing Dezan Shira & Associates’ capabilities in Asia and also highlighting the firm’s Spanish Desk and publications. He underscored the increasing interest from Ibero-American clients in the Asian markets and suggested strategic approach to support them from Europe to Asia without leaving the network.

Key speakers at the congress included Juan Bermúdez, CEO of ETL GLOBAL Spain; Christian Gorny, CEO of ETL GLOBAL International; and Rosa Martínez, Chief Investment Officer for Western Europe at ETL GLOBAL International. The event focused on two major themes: talent and artificial intelligence, with particular emphasis on the profound impact AI is having on the professional services sector.
