Dezan Shira & Associates Engages CEIBS GEMBA Executives on ASEAN-China Supply Chain Dynamics and Previews Asia Manufacturing Index 2025
On October 15, 2024, Marco Förster, ASEAN Director at Dezan Shira & Associates, delivered an insightful guest lecture to a distinguished group of executives participating in the China Europe International Business School’s (CEIBS) Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) program during their visit to Hanoi. The cohort, hailing primarily from Shanghai and surrounding cities, represented a diverse range of industries, showcasing the global reach of the GEMBA program. This program was recently ranked as the number one Executive MBA in the world by the Financial Times, solidifying its reputation as a leading platform for executive education.
During the session, Marco Förster focused on ASEAN-China supply chain dynamics, providing a detailed overview of current developments and emerging opportunities for businesses seeking to optimize their operations in the region. His discussion highlighted critical trends in regional trade, logistics, and production, offering the executives valuable insights into navigating the complexities of the rapidly evolving supply chain landscape. Additionally, Marco introduced the Asia Manufacturing Index (AMI) 2025, a powerful tool designed to assist businesses in identifying optimal manufacturing locations across the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This pre-launch event underscored the importance of data-driven decision-making in supply chain management, and participants were given a first look at how this resource can help businesses stay competitive in the global market.
This engagement marks the third time in 2024 that Dezan Shira & Associates has had the honor of teaching a CEIBS EMBA class. Earlier this year, Marco Förster, along with David Stepat, Singapore Director at Dezan Shira & Associates, delivered lectures at the EHL Singapore campus to the Hospitality Executive MBA (HEMBA) class. This joint program between EHL and CEIBS catered to an exclusively Chinese cohort, emphasizing the collaborative and cross-cultural nature of executive education in today’s interconnected business environment.
We thank CEIBS for the ongoing opportunity to engage with their high-caliber students and contribute to their global learning experience.
The partnership between Dezan Shira & Associates and CEIBS reflects a shared commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and equipping business leaders with the tools they need to succeed in a dynamic, competitive landscape.
We look forward to furthering this collaboration in the future and to supporting more executives on their journey to mastering the complexities of international business.
