Dezan Shira & Associates Launches Cost Control Series to Support Sustainable Business Growth in China 2024-25

Shanghai, October 31, Thursday – Dezan Shira & Associates has introduced a new event series dedicated to the crucial topic of cost control for businesses operating in China, aiming to address the challenges posed by an increasingly competitive business environment, fluctuating market and supply chain costs, and evolving regulatory landscapes.

The inaugural session, led by Vivian Mao, Partner and Head of East China at Dezan Shira & Associates, and Jenny Liao, Partner leading the Corporate Accounting Service and Tax team in East China, brought together over 20 business leaders and founders from diverse sectors at the Servcorp Coworking Area in Shanghai.

The session covered key topics such as effective cost management through financial analysis and digitalization, renegotiation of supply contracts, labor cost reduction methods, and the use of flexible workspaces. Participants also heard insights from two business owners who shared their experience with cost management, highlighting its critical role in overcoming financial challenges.

Engaging discussions continued from the sharing session through the Q&A and networking segments, where many attendees found practical value in the solutions discussed.
