Vietnam Country Director Vivie Wei Highlights Vietnam’s Packaging Market Potential at WEPACK 2025 in Shanghai

April 9, 2025,Shanghai – At the Vietnam Investment Day Forum held during WEPACK 2025 in Shanghai, Vivie Wei, country director for Vietnam at Dezan Shira & Associates, delivered a keynote speech on “Vietnam in 2025: Economic Trends, Policy Developments, and Opportunities in the Packaging Industry.” The session was part of the special “Going Global” track aimed at helping Chinese packaging companies explore overseas investment opportunities.

Vivie’s insights highlighted Vietnam’s strong market fundamentals, with a focus on the country’s rising demand for packaging driven by rapid e-commerce growth and an expanding middle class. “Vietnam presents a compelling opportunity for Chinese packaging enterprises looking to expand overseas. Its favorable investment environment, improving infrastructure, and growing consumer base create the conditions for long-term success,” Vivie commented during her speech.

Following her presentation, Vivie met one-on-one with businesses at the event’s Interactive Zone for Going Global, where she offered practical advice on market entry, site selection, and navigating Vietnam’s regulatory and tax landscape.

The Vietnam Investment Day Forum brought together Vietnamese government officials, industrial park representatives, financial institutions, and industry experts to provide attendees with a comprehensive view of the Vietnam market and real-world investment strategies.
